The Building Services Team provides the following services to all HSSEAS Departments:

We will do limited cleaning of your off-master rooms, including vacuuming, strip and waxing of lab floors, sweep and mop only for office floors, shampoo carpets, etc.

We will move your furniture, optical tables, heavy equipment, or whatever else you might have to move.  We can also arrange your specialized moves.

We can put up partitions and take them down, as long as they do not go to the ceiling.  A floor to ceiling partition order will have to go through UCLA Facilities Management as the air conditioning flow will be altered.

We can do certain small plumbing jobs that have to do with specialized equipment within labs.

We handle all of the security tie-downs for equipment at HSSEAS.  This is one way of deterring thieves from stealing equipment, as well as the only way insurance will cover a loss.

We do a variety of small jobs such as hanging pictures, anchoring furniture, installing bulletin and white boards, installing locks on file cabinets and desks, etc.
