The lab safety classes will be offered during the first two weeks of the fall quarter. These classes are mandatory for any students who will be attending classes, working or conducting research at any laboratory environment at UCLA. Once you receive a signed card from the Environmental Health & Safety representative at the completion of your 2 hour class, you do not need to repeat this class for as long as you are attending school here at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science (HSSEAS). You may be required to show this card at the request of the lab or building manager.

To sign up for one of these scheduled classes in fall quarter, please go to room 2685 Boelter Hall.

For those who need to take Lab Safety class in winter or spring quarter, you may contact Shain Sabeti at shain@ea.ucla.edu for other arrangements.

• Fire Safety
• Laboratory Safety
• Shops Safety
• Ergonomics at Work Place
